Quinoa multi-cooker KIC-180 KeMar

Preparing quinoa in the KIC-180 multicooker. Quinoa, also called "Inca gold," is one of the best sources of plant protein. It contains nine essential amino acids, which is quite unusual for a plant-based food. It has positive health effects because it is nutrient-rich, alkalizing, and gluten-free.

Ingredients

1 measuring cup (160 ml) quinoa

2-3 measuring cups of water

1 pinch of salt or a tablespoon of vegetable stock

Please use the optionally available stainless steel steamer insert.

1 broccoli (cut into small pieces)

1 garlic clove (cut into small pieces)

1 tablespoon pine nuts

1 tablespoon soy sauce

Wash the quinoa thoroughly in hot water to remove any bitterness. Then add 2-3 measuring cups of water to the pot.

If you want to steam vegetables at the same time, place the optional stainless steel steamer rack in the pot and then place the optional stainless steel steamer insert on top. Finely chop the broccoli and garlic and pour the soy sauce over them. Sprinkle the pine nuts on top. Close the lid and select the QUICK program in the menu. This takes approximately 35 minutes.
