Whole grain rice prepared using the GABA method in the KIC-180 multicooker. GABA stands for GAMMA AMINO BUTTERIC ACID. Here's an explanation of the preparation process.
Menu:
Brown Rice - approx. 2 hours
Ingredients:
Whole-grain rice – in this case, organic basmati rice – 1 cup rice – 2 cups water – a little salt if desired. Stir in light soy sauce for flavor at the end. Let the organic rice germinate in cold water for at least 24 hours.
Preparation:
Wash the rice thoroughly, preferably twice. For best results, let it germinate overnight in a little cold water for about 24 hours. Add two cups of water to one cup of whole-grain Basmati rice. Press the Brown Rice button. The default time is set to 2 hours.
After the time has elapsed, let the rice swell for at least 10 minutes in the keep warm mode.
Season with light soy sauce and a little salt.
You can also add a teaspoon of matcha powder or green tea to the water.
