KRC-130 Preparation in the rice cooker

Sushi rice has a few special preparation techniques. Unlike regular rice, it uses a special short-grain sushi rice, along with sushi vinegar and sugar. Preparation is very simple, so there's nothing stopping you from making your own sushi.

Menu:

Set the switch to White Rice. Cook for about 20-25 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 measuring cup of white sushi rice

2 measuring cups of water (approx. 180 ml per measuring cup)

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp sushi vinegar (available in Asian stores)

1 tbsp sugar

Preparation:

Wash a measuring cup of rice and add it to the pot. Add two measuring cups of water, salt, sugar, and rice vinegar. Press the "White Rice" button. The rice is ready after about 20-25 minutes. Let it swell in the pot for about another 5 minutes. Enjoy.
