Roasting in the KPC-150 pressure cooker from KeMar

Roast turkey in the KPC-150 pressure cooker. Roast turkey prepared quickly.

Menu:

Chicken - 30 minutes

Ingredients:

500 g turkey breast in one piece

some oil for frying

1 onion

2 carrots

1 parsnip (can be omitted; it has a very intense flavor)

1 small piece of celeriac

1 bay leaf

5 allspice berries

Salt

pepper

thyme

approx. 100 ml water

Preparation:

Season the turkey roast with salt and pepper. Dice the onions. Peel and slice the carrots and parsnips. Peel and dice the celery. Add oil to the pot and select the CHICKEN menu on the KPC-150. The appliance will preheat. Add the meat and sear well on all sides. Then add the onions and the remaining vegetables and sauté briefly. Deglaze with a little water, add the bay leaf, allspice berries, and thyme, and close the lid. Ensure the pressure control lever is in the middle. Set the CHICKEN menu to 30 minutes. The appliance will now build up pressure. Once the pressure is built up, the timer begins to count down. After this time, you will hear a beep. Carefully release the pressure by moving the control lever to the right or left. The lid can only be opened once the pressure has completely dissipated. Remove the turkey roast from the pot and place it on a board or plate. Remove the bay leaf and allspice berries as well. Then puree the sauce, adding a little more water if necessary. Set the appliance to the "CHICKEN" setting again so the sauce returns to a boil. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Turn off the appliance and slice the turkey. Serve with your choice of side dishes. Enjoy!
