Indian-style lentils – vegetarian or with chicken in the KRC-140 multicooker. A quick and delicious Indian dish that can be prepared either vegetarian or with chicken.

Ingredients:
For 2 people:
1 cup red lentils (wash well)
2 cups of water
1 tomato
1 small onion
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon black cumin
1 teaspoon of fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon garam masala spice
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cream cheese
Chili powder or chili pepper to taste
From here on no longer vegetarian
250 grams of chicken (chopped)
Preparation:
Wash the red lentils and fill a bowl. Add one bowl of lentils to the pot. Add two bowls of water. Place it in the "White Rice" menu and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Prepare the other ingredients. Chop the chicken. Chop the onion, garlic, ginger, and tomato. Set aside the cream cheese. After about 10 minutes, the lentils will be well-softened. Add the tomato, ginger, onion, garlic, and spices. From here on, it's for non-vegetarians. Add the chicken and let everything simmer for about 15 minutes. Season to taste. It looks Indian and definitely tastes Indian. Add chili to taste.
