Classic red tomato sauce for pasta in the KIC-180 multicooker. The classic for pasta: a simple and delicious tomato sauce. Tastes just like an Italian dish.

Slow cook - 30 min.
Ingredients:
1 can of chopped tomatoes or 6 fresh very ripe tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 onion
3 tablespoons of good olive oil
Salt, pepper and sugar to taste
1 half bunch of fresh basil
Parmesan for the pasta
250 grams of pasta
Preparation:
Set the cooker to QUICK . Add the olive oil and finely chopped onions and sauté until translucent. Press the garlic cloves through a press into the pot and mix well with the tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Then set the cooker to SLOW COOK in the menu and simmer manually for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Five minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the finely chopped basil and stir to combine.
Cook the pasta about 20 minutes before the end of the preparation time and serve with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy.
