Flavorful chili con carne in the KIC-180. The classic Mexican chili con carne, prepared quickly and easily.
Menu:
Quick fry for approx. 10-15 minutes, then simmer for approx. 10-15 minutes.
Ingredients:
400 g minced beef
1 can of corn
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of chopped tomatoes
1 onion or 1/2 vegetable onion
2 cloves of garlic
Tomato paste or tomato-paprika paste (as desired)
some water
Salt
pepper
sweet paprika powder
ground chilies
Cayenne pepper
some oil for frying
Preparation:
Dice the onion and garlic. Wash the kidney beans. Add a little oil to the KIC-180's titanium ceramic-coated pot and select the Quick menu. When the oil is hot, add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Then add the diced onion and garlic and sauté briefly. Season with the spices and mix everything well. Then stir in the chopped tomatoes, tomato or tomato-pepper paste, and a little water. Bring to a boil briefly, then add the corn and beans and stir in. Press the Off button on the device and then select the Soup menu. Close the lid and let the chili simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Season again after the cooking time. This quantity is sufficient for approximately 4 servings. We served our chili with brown rice. You can also enjoy it on its own, with bread, or other types of rice. Enjoy!
