Ingredients
4 measuring cups of white beans (in our case dried)
300 ml water
2 tsp vegetable stock
500g organic ground beef
1 red onion
1 tbsp tomato paste
600 ml tomato passata or canned tomatoes
1 beef broth cube
Pepper and some chili spice
1 garlic clove
3 medium-sized potatoes cut into small pieces
3-4 tablespoons olive oil
preparation
First, soak the white beans in plenty of cold water the night before. The next morning, discard the water and rinse thoroughly. Pour the beans into the KPC-150 pot along with three times the amount of water (4 scoops of beans = 12 scoops of water) and cook for one hour with the lid closed using the BEANS program. Then, drain the beans through a sieve and remove them from the pot.
Select the MEAT menu (15 min) in the KPC-150 and fry the olive oil with the onions and garlic until translucent (with the lid open). Then brown the minced meat while stirring. Now add the water, passata, tomato paste, vegetable stock, beans, and beef stock cube; stir well and close the lid. Cook for 15 minutes in the MEAT program with the lid closed. Season to taste with pepper and chili powder. Enjoy.
