Steamed dumplings / yeast dumplings in the KRC-140 multicooker. Delicious yeast dumplings prepared quickly.

Ingredients:

For 4 people:

- 500g flour

- 1/2 cube of fresh yeast or 1 sachet of dry yeast

- 50g sugar

- 250 ml milk, lukewarm

- 80g butter, melted

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1 egg

- 1 tbsp butter

- 125 ml milk

Preparation:

First, prepare the dough by kneading all but the last two ingredients together until you have a non-sticky dough. If it's sticky, simply add a little flour (a tablespoon at a time). The dough needs to rise for at least an hour. Especially in winter, a heater is a great place for the yeast to thrive. The dough should double in size.

Next, knead the dough again and form it into 9-10 balls. Let them rest for another 30 minutes. Now, scatter the 1 tablespoon of butter in small pieces in the pot of the cooker, place the balls in it, and pour over the 125ml of milk. Select the 'STEAM' program on the cooker for 30 minutes.

The yeast dumplings can be eaten with vanilla sauce or fruit compote or sugar and cinnamon.
