Buckwheat is a pseudocereal, meaning it's gluten-free. Its high protein content of around 10% makes it very popular among athletes and health-conscious individuals.
The preparation is very simple.
For a delicious summer salad with buckwheat you need the following ingredients:
- 200 g washed buckwheat
- 1 red pepper,
- 2 tomatoes
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 leek onion
- 1/2 pack of shepherd's cheese
- 1 handful of basil leaves
Dressing:
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp dark basamiko
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp mustard
- 2 teaspoons honey
- salt and pepper
Preparation:
Wash 200g of buckwheat thoroughly. Then pour boiling water over it. Place it in the KRC-190 along with 400g of water and select the "QUINOA" program. After about 30 minutes, the buckwheat will be perfectly cooked.
In the meantime, prepare the salad and dressing. Wash and chop all the vegetables, then mix well with the dressing in a bowl. Then simply stir in the buckwheat and enjoy. It's very filling and low in calories.
