The KeMar Kitchenware 1-liter dry container, made from shatterproof, BPA-free Tritan®, is the specialized accessory for your KSB series stand mixers. It was specifically developed for grinding, pulverizing, and chopping dry and non-liquid ingredients. Equipped with a 2-wing AGS (Aircraft Graded Steel) blade made from high-strength stainless steel, the container processes coffee beans, grains, spices, nuts, sugar, or ice cubes extremely efficiently – producing everything from flour-fine fresh grain flour to powdered sugar. The precisely fitting black TPE lid with a transparent measuring cap allows for effortless refilling of ingredients during operation.

Important Usage & Care Instructions

• Note regarding clouding:When grinding hard ingredients (grains, nuts, coffee beans, legumes), the plastic may take on a milky appearance over time. This is a purely aesthetic effect caused by mechanical abrasion and does not affect function or food safety. Please note that cosmetic clouding is not covered by the warranty.

Are the dry container and the lid dishwasher-safe?

No, the dry container and the lid should not be cleaned in the dishwasher. The aggressive cleaning salts and active ingredients in dishwasher tablets attack the seals and wash the special lubricant out of the precision ball bearings of the 2-wing AGS blade assembly.

How to clean and care for the dry container properly:

• Simple dry cleaning (recommended):When processing dry ground material (such as grain flour, spice powder, or coffee grounds), it is usually sufficient to brush out the container with a soft brush or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth.
• Quick self-cleaning:For sticky or oily residues (e.g., from nuts), fill the container about halfway with lukewarm water and 1 drop of mild dish soap. Put the lid on and run the blender for approx. 10 to 20 seconds. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry completely.
• Manual cleaning:If necessary, clean the container and TPE lid by hand with lukewarm water, a little dish soap, and a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive sponges or aggressive cleaners.
