BAMBOO – A SUSTAINABLE RAW MATERIAL
Bamboo is a type of grass that grows woody and is not a tree in the true sense of the word. Growing up to 1 meter per day, bamboo produces more oxygen than any other plant in the world. In just six months, bamboo grows to its maximum size of up to 40 meters, reaching a diameter of up to 40 cm. Harvesting occurs after approximately four years.
Bamboo grows in tropical countries, and Asia is currently the main importing country. Bamboo cultivation is largely small-scale, with small-scale farming remaining the sole domain. Bamboo grows primarily in mountainous regions, where it is primarily harvested by hand.
Because bamboo grows extremely quickly, large quantities can be felled annually without endangering the population. New bamboo constantly grows from the root system.
Hardly any fertilizers, pesticides, or artificial irrigation methods are used in bamboo cultivation because the plants are very resilient and robust.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Do not expose to open flames; reusable. Not dishwasher or microwave safe. Our bowls are designed for both hot and cold foods. When serving very hot foods like soup, the shape of the bowls will change over time. Use only as a bowl. Not a toy; keep away from children.
To preserve the beauty of your bamboo product for a long time, please find the following care instructions: Clean after each use with lukewarm water and a little dish soap and dry thoroughly with a soft dishcloth. Do not use abrasive sponges, chemicals, or hot water for cleaning. Not suitable for dishwashers, microwaves, or ovens. Protect from direct sunlight and extreme heat. Otherwise, the surface may fade and fine cracks may develop.
VERSATILE USE
The bowl can be used not only for snacks of all kinds, but also as a salad bowl, serving bowl or decorative bowl.
