Then change the menu to "Slow Cook ," reduce the water, add the okra, and cook gently for 30-40 minutes.
This dish pairs perfectly with naan bread, which is very easy to make yourself. Simply use the following ingredients:
500 g flour
150 ml lukewarm milk
2 1/2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp dry yeast
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp oil
150 ml yogurt
1 egg
Salt
Flour for rolling out
Preparation:
Mix the milk, half a tablespoon of sugar, and the yeast. Let it rise in a warm, quiet place for about 20 minutes. Put the flour in a large bowl and stir in the salt and baking powder. Then mix together 2 tablespoons of sugar, the milk, the yeast mixture, 2 tablespoons of oil, the yogurt, and the egg. Let the dough rise for another hour. Knead thoroughly and form 6 balls. Take one ball and roll it out completely flat. A gas grill with a pizza plate is ideal for this. Alternatively, you can use a large nonstick frying pan. Heat the plate or pan until very hot, then fry the dough until it bubbles, then turn it over. Serve the naan warm with the okra. Enjoy.
