Cod stew with vegetables in the KIC-180 multicooker. A different take on cod with vegetables as a stew.
Menu:
QUICK - 25 min. (no time setting possible, switch off using the OFF button after the cooking time specified here)
- Fry for 5 minutes - Cook vegetables for 10 minutes - Cook fish for 10 minutes = approx. 25 minutes.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil
400 grams of boneless cod fillet
1 fennel bulb
2 carrots
50 grams of celeriac
1 onion
1 garlic clove
1 tsp tomato paste
1 small can of chopped tomatoes
300 ml vegetable stock
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 bay leaf
3 allspice berries
some salt, pepper
Parsley for garnishing
Preparation:
Dice the fennel, carrots, onion, garlic, and celery. Select "Quick" in the menu. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and sauté the onions and garlic for about 2 minutes. Then add the diced vegetables to the pot. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes. Then add the vegetable stock, the chopped tomatoes, the fish sauce, the bay leaf, and the pigment granules, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Finally, add the diced cod and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley. Enjoy.
