Edamame - soybeans in the KIC-180 multicooker. Edamame roughly translates to "beans on a branch" and is a healthy alternative to snacking on the couch. They also make a great side dish to many dishes.

QUICK - 5 min. (no time setting possible, switch off using the OFF button after the cooking time specified here)
Ingredients:
1 bag of edamame, approx. 400 g. – Available in many Asian stores. Usually stored in the freezer.
1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Preparation:
Pour four measuring cups of water into the pot. If desired, add 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt. Set the cooker to QUICK and turn on. Bring the water to a boil, then add the edamame directly from the package to the cooker. After about 5 minutes, drain the edamame in a colander and briefly rinse with warm water. Season with coarse sea salt.
