Can I also cook using only a single steam insert?

Yes, you can flexibly decide how many inserts you would like to use. The three steam inserts are numbered 1 to 3. Depending on the amount of food, you can use just the first basket, two baskets, or all three steam baskets at the same time. When stacking, simply ensure the correct order of the numbering.

How do I prepare rice in the steamer?

Place the washed rice along with the appropriate amount of water (recommendation: approx. 1 part rice to 1.5 parts water) into the supplied rice bowl. Place the bowl in the top steam basket. Depending on the type of rice, the preparation time in the steamer is approx. 30 to 40 minutes.

How long does the keep-warm mode run after the cooking time has elapsed?

Once the steaming process is complete, the steamer automatically switches to keep-warm mode and keeps the food ready to serve at approx. 70 °C.

• Safety shut-off:The keep-warm mode runs for a maximum of 24 hours. If the water in the tank is used up prematurely and no water is added, the integrated boil-dry protection will automatically shut off the device earlier for safety reasons.

Are the removable accessories dishwasher-safe?

Yes, all removable parts such as the three steam baskets, the lid, the rice bowl, the drip tray, and the turbo ring are made of BPA-free plastic and are dishwasher-safe.

• Care tip:To maintain the transparency and longevity of the plastic over the long term, we recommend placing them in the top rack of the dishwasher or, alternatively, simply cleaning them by hand with lukewarm water, a little mild dish soap, and a soft sponge.
