3-in-1 function : With the KeMar Kitchenware KFS-950, you can prepare all types of rice in the separate rice bowl, steam food in the three different inserts , and then automatically keep it warm or reheat it . You can conveniently and easily choose between the six automatic programs or the manual setting via the digital touch display .

Another advantage of the touch display is that the flat and closed surface prevents dirt from penetrating the device .

The water tank, turbo ring, and rice bowl are BPA (Bisphenol-A) free . They are made of PP (polypropylene).

With its silver-gray front , illuminated display , and elegant white water tank, the KFS-950 is an eye-catcher in any kitchen. The digital timer lets you set the time for your coffee. The convenient external water supply and external water level indicator simplify operation.

The Turbo Ring technology ensures that the steaming process starts in less than 40 seconds . After steaming, the individual parts can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher and then folded to save space . The power cord can be coiled underneath the appliance.

The KFS-950 is designed for quick and easy preparation of all types of rice and steamed dishes.

Can I also cook using just a single steaming insert?

Yes, you can flexibly decide how many inserts you would like to use. The three steaming inserts are numbered 1 to 3. Depending on the amount of food, you can use only the first basket, two baskets, or all three steaming baskets at the same time. When stacking, simply ensure you follow the correct numbering sequence.

How do I prepare rice in the steamer?

Place the washed rice along with the appropriate amount of water (recommendation: approx. 1 part rice to 1.5 parts water) into the supplied rice bowl. Place the bowl in the top steaming basket. The preparation time in the steamer is approx. 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the type of rice.

How long does the keep-warm mode run after the cooking time has elapsed?

After the steaming process has finished, the steamer automatically switches to keep-warm mode and keeps the food ready to serve at approx. 70 °C.

  • Safety shut-off:The keep-warm mode runs for a maximum of 24 hours. If the water in the tank is used up prematurely and no water is refilled, the integrated boil-dry protection will automatically switch the device off earlier for safety reasons.

Are the removable accessories dishwasher-safe?

Yes, all removable parts such as the three steaming baskets, the lid, the rice bowl, the drip tray, and the turbo ring are dishwasher-safe.

  • Care tip:To maintain the transparency and durability of the BPA-free plastic in the long term, we recommend placing it in the top rack of the dishwasher or, alternatively, simple manual cleaning with lukewarm water, a little mild detergent, and a soft sponge.
