The KeMar KFS-3000 relies on stainless steel-based materials for the main components that come into contact with food:

Fast steam generation & control

Thanks to integrated Turbo-Ring technology, the steam generation is ready to use in under 40 seconds. The following functional modes can be selected via the digital touch display:

  • Steaming mode: Gentle preparation in steam to preserve the structure and natural flavor of vegetables, fish, and meat.

  • Rice mode: Special program for preparing rice.

  • Hot Pot / Fondue mode: Use the base station as a cooking vessel for Asian hot pot dishes or broth fondue.

4 FUNCTIONS IN ONE APPLIANCE

The KeMar KFS-3000 allows you to steam vegetables and fish, cook rice, and prepare hot pot dishes, soups, and stews. The integrated cooking program is also suitable for preparing foods such as potatoes or pasta.

ILLUMINATED TOUCH DISPLAY & DIGITAL CONTROL

The food steamer is equipped with four automatic programs for preparing different food categories (e.g., vegetables, fish, rice, poultry, and eggs). A manual mode for individual cooking times and power levels can also be set via the digital touch display. The integrated timer function allows for a pre-selection of start times for the cooking, steaming, and steam pot programs.

WATER LEVEL INDICATOR, WATER REFILL & SAFETY

The water tank has a capacity of 2.0 liters and enables continuous steaming for up to 90 minutes.

  • Water level control:The fill level can be checked via the internal water level indicator. For longer steaming processes, water can be refilled after briefly removing the steaming attachments.
  • Boil-dry protection:The appliance switches off automatically if there is no water in the container or if the water is used up during operation.

RAPID STEAM GENERATION (TURBO RING TECHNOLOGY)

Thanks to the integrated Turbo Ring technology, steam generation starts in under 40 seconds after switching on, so the steaming process begins quickly.

MORE INFORMATION AND FAQ

CAN I ALSO STEAM WITH ONLY ONE STEAMING TRAY?

Yes. The three steaming trays are numbered from 1 to 3. Depending on the quantity required, you can flexibly use just one, two, or all three steaming baskets at the same time.

HOW DO I STEAM RICE IN THE STEAM COOKER?

To prepare rice, use the solid, non-perforated steaming basket. The preparation time is approximately 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the type of rice and the quantity.

HOW LONG DOES THE KEEP-WARM MODE RUN AFTER THE REGULAR COOKING TIME?

After the cooking process is complete, the steam cooker automatically switches to keep-warm mode in theCookingandSteam Potprograms. This keeps food warm at approx. 60–70 °C for up to 4 hours and then switches off automatically.

Note on the safety system:The maximum keep-warm duration depends on the remaining water level in the water tank. As soon as the minimum water level is reached, the integrated boil-dry protection switches the appliance off prematurely for safety reasons.

ARE THE REMOVABLE PARTS DISHWASHER-SAFE?

Yes, all removable components such as the steaming baskets, the turbo ring, the rice bowl, and the glass lid are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, these parts can be cleaned with lukewarm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge.

Why stainless steel?

The stainless steel steamer baskets are uncoated. You'll never have to worry about scratches or flaking coatings again. We deliberately avoided plastic steamer baskets, as these usually contain plasticizers such as BPA and can discolor over time.

WATER LEVEL INDICATOR

The internal water level indicator in the water tank allows you to check the water level, allowing you to easily refill the water during a longer steaming session. To do this, you will need to briefly remove the steaming attachments. The stainless steel water tank has a capacity of 2.0 liters and is sufficient for approximately 90 minutes of continuous steaming.

The steamer is also equipped with a boil-dry protection system . The device will automatically shut off if there is no water in the water tank when the device is switched on, or if the water runs out during the steaming process.

TURBO RING TECHNOLOGY

Thanks to Turbo Ring technology, the steaming process starts in less than 40 seconds. This brings the food into steaming mode as quickly as possible, significantly reducing cooking time. The Turbo Ring is made of SUS304 stainless steel.

OPTIONAL XXL STEAMING BASKET

For preparing a whole fish or large portions, you can use the optional XXL steamer basket. The XXL steamer basket has a capacity of 11.3 liters.

The bowl is placed in the upper insert when all three steaming inserts are used simultaneously or separately without the three steaming inserts.

WE THINK ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT

Almost all materials used in the KFS-3000 are fully recyclable at the end of their life cycle. The stainless steel steamer inserts and water tank, the glass lids, the plastic components, and the packaging are made of recycled cardboard.
