Spelt in the rice cooker KRC-140 KeMar Kitchenware

Prepare spelt in the KRC-140 multicooker. Spelt – a delicious alternative to rice.

Menu.

Brown Rice - 30-40 min.

Ingredients:

1 cup spelt (ground or polished)

2 cups of water

some salt

Preparation:

Add 1 cup of spelt to the pot. Then add 2 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Close the lid of the appliance, select "Brown Rice" in the menu, and press the Cooking button for about 3 seconds. The cooking process begins. After about 30 minutes, you can check whether the spelt is ready. You'll know this is the case when there's no more liquid in the appliance and the spelt has swelled. You can now serve it as a side dish to a variety of dishes. We served it with chili con carne. Enjoy!
