Is the inner pot dishwasher-safe?

Yes, the inner pot is generally dishwasher-safe. However, we advise against regular cleaning in the dishwasher.

• Care recommendation: The aggressive cleaning salts and alkaline substances in dishwasher tablets can damage the non-stick surface over time. We therefore recommend gentle cleaning by hand using lukewarm water, a little mild detergent, and a soft sponge or non-scratch cloth.

How do I optimally care for and use the coated inner pot?

To maximize the service life of the toxin-free titanium-ceramic coating, please observe the following recommendations:

• Initial use: Before first use, rub a thin layer of cooking oil (e.g., coconut oil or olive oil) onto the inside of the pot. This conditions the surface and supports the non-stick properties.
• Gentle kitchen utensils: Only use the included plastic rice spoon or wooden/silicone kitchen utensils to remove rice and food. Avoid metal cutlery or utensils to prevent scratches to the coating.
• Cleaning: After the pot has cooled, simply clean it with warm water, mild detergent, and a soft sponge.
