Botanically, bamboo is one of the woody grasses and belongs to the fastest-growing plant genera. After harvesting, new stalks grow back from the rootstock (rhizome). Cultivation in the regions of origin is largely carried out in small-scale farming structures. Due to its natural density and strength, the material is ideally suited for the production of durable household and cover components.

ARE THE CANISTER AND THE BAMBOO LID DISHWASHER OR MICROWAVE SAFE?

No, neither the canister nor the bamboo lid are suitable for the dishwasher or microwave.

• Cleaning instructions: Aggressive dishwashing salts, cleaning chemicals, and high water temperatures in the dishwasher can damage the material (warping, cracking of the wood, or brittleness of the container).
• Recommended care: Clean the canister and lid by hand with lukewarm water, a little mild dish soap, and a soft sponge. Wipe the bamboo lid thoroughly dry immediately after cleaning.
