MATERIAL PROFILE: BAMBOO
Botanically, bamboo belongs to the grasses and is characterized by extremely rapid growth. Since the culms regenerate from the existing rootstock after lignification, the stock is maintained even with regular harvesting. Cultivation in the regions of origin is predominantly by small-scale farmers and done by hand. Due to its natural resistance, bamboo cultivation generally does not require the use of synthetic pesticides or artificial irrigation.
USAGE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Intended use: Use exclusively as a drinking straw. Not a toy – keep away from children.
- Safety: Do not hold into open flames. Not suitable for microwave.
- Dishwasher: Not dishwasher safe (hand wash recommended).
- Cleaning & Care:After each use, clean with lukewarm water, a little dish soap, and the enclosed natural fiber brush, then let dry thoroughly.Care tip: To extend the lifespan of natural bamboo, occasionally rub the straws with a little cooking oil.
