Traditional production & sustainability Our bamboo straws are made in traditional handicraft in partnership with a workshop in Vietnam. Botanically, bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants in the world. Due to its extensive root system, the raw material regenerates continuously, which allows for resource-friendly harvesting. Because of its natural resilience, bamboo generally does not require artificial irrigation during cultivation.

Are the bamboo straws dishwasher-safe?The bamboo straws are not suitable for the dishwasher or the microwave. Hot water, prolonged exposure to moisture, and aggressive detergents can cause the natural material to swell, warp, or crack. Furthermore, the water jet in the dishwasher cannot reliably reach the narrow interior of the straws.

How do I clean the bamboo straws correctly?We recommend simple hand cleaning immediately after use: Rinse the inside of the straw with the included cleaning brush, lukewarm water, and a little mild dish soap. Wash the outside with a soft sponge and then let the straws air dry completely in a well-ventilated area.
