NATURAL BAMBOO

Bamboo is a natural product. Minor variations in dimensions, shape, color tone, and wood grain are natural and define the individuality of each piece.

MATERIAL MIX OF CONTAINERS & CUTLERY

The container material and the cutlery of our KeMar lunch box set are made of a composite material:

• 50% cellulose fibers(renewable raw material)
• 50% polypropylene (PP)(for the necessary dimensional stability, break resistance, and durability in daily use)

TESTED FOR HARMFUL SUBSTANCES & MULTI-USE

The material used is designed for repeated multi-use, is food-safe, and tested to be free of plasticizers (such as BPA) and heavy metals.

HOW DO I CLEAN AND CARE FOR THE CONTAINERS AND CUTLERY?

The containers made of the cellulose-PP mix as well as the cutlery are dishwasher-safe. To protect the material from aggressive dishwasher salts and to extend its lifespan, we recommend cleaning by hand with lukewarm water and mild dish soap. The containers can be used in the microwave without the lid and stored in the freezer down to −20 °C.

HOW SHOULD THE BAMBOO LID BE OPTIMALLY MAINTAINED?

The bamboo lid is a natural product andis not dishwasher- or microwave-safe. Clean the lid by hand with lukewarm water and mild dish soap and dry it thoroughly immediately. Avoid soaking it directly in water or exposing it to extreme heat. To maintain its quality, we recommend rubbing it regularly with a little cooking oil.

ARE THE CONTAINERS AND THE BAMBOO LID DISHWASHER AND MICROWAVE SAFE?

• Containers made of cellulose-PP mix (container & cutlery):Yes, the containers and cutlery are dishwasher and microwave safe (always heat without the lid!). To protect the material from aggressive dishwasher salts and extend its service life, we recommend cleaning by hand with lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft sponge.
• Bamboo lid (natural product): No, the bamboo lid is neither dishwasher nor microwave safe.As a natural product, the wood would swell, warp, or crack in the dishwasher. Clean the bamboo lid exclusively by hand with lukewarm water and mild detergent, then dry it thoroughly immediately afterwards.
