IS THE STEAMING INSERT DISHWASHER SAFE?

Yes, the steaming insert is dishwasher safe, but we advise against it, as the aggressive cleaning salts in dishwasher tablets can damage the coating. We recommend cleaning with lukewarm water, a little washing-up liquid, and a soft sponge.

CAN RICE BE COOKED AND STEAMED AT THE SAME TIME?

Yes, rice can be cooked and steamed at the same time. The steaming insert is placed on the inner pot rim of the KRC-200.
