IS THE STEAMING INSERT STAND DISHWASHER SAFE?

Yes, the steamer stand is dishwasher-safe, but we advise against it, as the aggressive cleaning salts in dishwasher tablets will damage the coating. We recommend cleaning with lukewarm water, a little dish soap, and a soft sponge.

Yes, rice can be cooked and steamed at the same time. Place the steamer stand on the bottom of the rice cooker and place the steamer on top. Add 2-3 measuring cups of water.
