KeMar KEM-117P Stainless Steel Coffee Tamper (50 mm)

Consistent Tamping Pressure & Precise Fit

The KeMar KEM-117P tamper enables even compression of coffee grounds in the portafilter and supports uniform extraction during the brewing process. With a weight of approx. 340 grams, the tamper allows for controlled, vertical pressure on the coffee puck. The base diameter of 50 mm is matched to the KeMar Barista Delicioso KEM-117 and fits portafilters with an inner diameter of 50 mm to 51 mm.

Material & Build Quality

  • Base: Solid stainless steel (SUS304), rust-proof and food-safe. The flat underside creates a level surface for the coffee grounds.

  • Handle: Ergonomically shaped aluminum handle for stable handling during tamping.

Is the KEM-117P Tamper dishwasher safe?

The stainless steel (SUS304) base is dishwasher safe. However, for the aluminum handle, manual cleaning with warm water, mild detergent, and a soft sponge is recommended to maintain the surface structure and appearance of the aluminum in the long term.
